Bacon Egg and Cheese Sandwich Recipe

Ingredients

  • 4 slices of bread (white, wheat, or brioche)
  • 4 slices of bacon
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tbsp milk (optional, for fluffier eggs)
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp butter or oil
  • 2 slices of cheddar cheese (or your preferred cheese)

Instructions

Step 1: Cook the Bacon

  1. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat.

  2. Add the bacon slices and cook until crispy, about 3-5 minutes per side.

  3. Remove and place on a paper towel to drain excess grease.

Step 2: Prepare the Eggs

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk the eggs with milk, salt, and pepper.

  2. Melt butter in a pan over medium-low heat.

  3. Pour in the eggs and cook, stirring gently, until just set.

Step 3: Toast the Bread

  1. Lightly butter the bread slices.

  2. Toast them in a pan or toaster until golden brown.

Step 4: Assemble the Sandwich

  1. Place a slice of cheese on one piece of toast.

  2. Add the scrambled eggs, crispy bacon, and another slice of cheese.

  3. Top with the second piece of toast.

Step 5: Melt the Cheese and Serve

  1. Place the sandwich back in the pan on low heat for 1-2 minutes per side until the cheese melts.

  2. Remove, slice in half, and enjoy!
