Ingredients
For the Buffalo Chicken:

1.5 lbs boneless chicken breast or thighs (thinly sliced)

½ cup Buffalo hot sauce (Frank’s RedHot recommended)

2 tbsp melted butter (for richer sauce)

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder
-
½ tsp paprika

Salt & black pepper to taste
For the Cheesesteak Assembly:

4 hoagie rolls or sub buns (toasted)

1 large bell pepper (thinly sliced)

1 large onion (thinly sliced)
-
2 cups shredded cheese (provolone, cheddar, or pepper jack)

¼ cup blue cheese crumbles (optional)

2 tbsp olive oil (for sautéing)

Ranch or blue cheese dressing (for drizzling)
Instructions
Step 1: Cook the Chicken
- Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add sliced chicken, season with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt & pepper.
- Cook for 5-6 minutes until no longer pink.
- Pour in Buffalo sauce + melted butter, stir well, and simmer for 2 minutes. Remove from heat.
Step 2: Sauté Peppers & Onions
- In the same skillet, add 1 tbsp oil and cook peppers & onions for 4-5 mins until soft.
- Push veggies to one side, add chicken back in.
- Step 3: Melt the Cheese
- Sprinkle shredded cheese over the chicken & veggies.
- Cover with a lid for 1-2 mins until cheese melts.
Step 4: Toast the Buns
- Lightly butter hoagie rolls and toast in a pan or oven (2-3 mins).
Step 5: Assemble & Serve
- Load cheesy Buffalo chicken mix into rolls.
- Drizzle with ranch or blue cheese dressing.
- Add extra hot sauce if desired.
