Instructions

Step 1: In a large bowl or stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, beat the softened butter on medium speed for 2-3 minutes until very light and fluffy. This crucial step incorporates air for that perfect fluffy buttercream texture.

Step 2: Add confectioners’ sugar one cup at a time, mixing on low speed initially to prevent a sugar cloud, then increasing to medium speed. Scrape down the sides of the bowl after each addition.
