Ingredients
- 2 cups of fresh Lion’s Mane mushrooms (cut into bite-sized pieces)
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil (or any preferred cooking oil)
- 1 tablespoon of soy sauce or tamari (for a gluten-free option)
- 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
- 1–2 garlic cloves (minced)
- 1 teaspoon of fresh thyme or rosemary (optional)
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
Step 1: πΏ Prepare the Lion’s Mane Mushrooms
Start by cleaning your Lion’s Mane mushrooms with a damp cloth or paper towel. Trim off any tough or dirty parts. Slice the mushrooms into bite-sized pieces, making sure they’re uniform for even cooking.
Step 2: π³ Heat the Pan
Place your skillet or frying pan on medium heat and add the olive oil. Allow it to warm up for a couple of minutes until it starts shimmering.
Step 3: π§ SautΓ© the Garlic
Add the minced garlic to the pan and sautΓ© for about 30 seconds, or until it becomes fragrant. Be careful not to burn the garlic.
Step 4: π Cook the Mushrooms
Add the prepared Lion’s Mane mushrooms to the pan. Stir occasionally to ensure they cook evenly. Let them cook for about 5-7 minutes until they become golden brown and tender.
Step 5: π§ Season and Serve
Once the mushrooms are cooked, add the soy sauce or tamari, lemon juice, and season with salt and pepper. Stir well to coat the mushrooms in the sauce. Cook for an additional minute to allow the flavors to combine. Finally, garnish with fresh parsley for a pop of color and serve immediately!
