Ingredients
For the Chocolate Ganache Layer:

Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Chocolate Ganache
In a saucepan, heat the heavy cream until just about to boil. Remove from heat and pour over the chopped chocolate in a bowl. Let it sit for 2 minutes to melt. Stir until smooth and glossy. Add vanilla extract. Let it cool slightly before layering.
Step 2: Whip the Cream
In a cold mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until soft peaks form. Do not overbeat. Chill until ready to use.
Step 3: Slice the Strawberries
Wash, hull, and slice fresh strawberries. You can sprinkle a little sugar and let them sit for 10-15 minutes to enhance the flavor.
Step 4: Assemble the Layers
Start with a layer of chocolate ganache at the bottom of each dessert cup. Add a layer of whipped cream, followed by a layer of sliced strawberries. Repeat layers until the cup is filled.
Step 5: Garnish and Chill
Top with a final swirl of whipped cream, a whole strawberry, shaved chocolate, and optionally, a touch of edible gold or crushed pistachios. Chill for at least 1 hour before serving.
