Instructions
Step 1: Marinate the Beef
In a medium bowl, combine thinly sliced beef with soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, and cornstarch. Let it marinate for at least 20 minutes while you prep the vegetables and sauce.
Step 2: Prepare the Sauce
In a separate bowl, whisk together all sauce ingredients: soy sauces, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, sugar, sesame oil, and beef broth. Set aside.
Step 3: Cook the Noodles
Boil the lo mein noodles according to package instructions. Drain and rinse with cold water to stop cooking. Toss with a splash of sesame oil to prevent sticking.
Step 4: Stir-Fry the Beef
Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a wok over medium-high heat. Add marinated beef and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until browned and just cooked through. Remove and set aside.
Step 5: Sauté Vegetables
In the same wok, add more oil if needed. Sauté garlic and ginger for 30 seconds. Add onions, cabbage, carrots, bell peppers, and snap peas. Stir-fry for 3–4 minutes until vegetables are tender-crisp.
Step 6: Combine Everything
Return the beef to the wok along with the cooked noodles. Pour in the sauce and toss everything together until the noodles are fully coated and heated through. Adjust seasoning to taste.
Step 7: Garnish and Serve
Top with chopped green onions and a drizzle of sesame oil or chili oil if desired. Serve hot!
