Instructions
Step 1: Cook the Ground Beef
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add olive oil or butter.
- Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it into small pieces with a wooden spoon.
- If using onions, add them to the skillet and cook until softened (about 3-4 minutes).
- Stir in the minced garlic and cook for another 30 seconds until fragrant.
Step 2: Add the Pasta and Broth
- Pour the beef broth into the skillet and stir to combine.
- Add the uncooked pasta and mix well.
- Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and cover the skillet.
- Let it simmer for 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is tender.
Step 3: Incorporate the Milk and Seasonings
- Once the pasta is cooked, stir in the milk, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt.
- Mix well to combine all the flavors.
Step 4: Melt the Velveeta Cheese
- Add the cubed Velveeta cheese to the skillet.
- Stir continuously until the cheese is fully melted and the sauce becomes creamy and smooth.
Step 5: Serve and Enjoy
- Remove the skillet from heat and let it sit for 2-3 minutes to thicken.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley or grated Parmesan if desired.
