Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Sugar Syrup
- In a small saucepan, combine the sugar and water.
- Heat over medium heat, stirring constantly until the sugar dissolves completely.

Step 2: Blend the Mangoes
- Add the chopped mangoes to a blender or food processor.
- Blend until smooth and creamy.
- Pass the puree through a fine mesh strainer to remove any fibrous bits.
Step 3: Combine Ingredients
- In a mixing bowl, combine the mango puree, cooled sugar syrup, lemon juice, and salt.
- Mix well until everything is fully incorporated.
Step 4: Churn the Sorbet
- Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions (usually 20-25 minutes).
- If you don’t have an ice cream maker, pour the mixture into a shallow dish and freeze. Stir every 30 minutes for 2-3 hours to break up ice crystals.
