Easy Strawberry Fluff Salad Recipe

Easy Strawberry Fluff Salad Recipe

  • Author: Jasmine
  • Total Time: 2 hrs 15 mins

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries (hulled & diced)
    1 (3.4 oz) package strawberry Jell-O (or sugar-free alternative)
1 (8 oz) tub whipped topping (Cool Whip or homemade whipped cream)
    2 cups mini marshmallows
1 (20 oz) can crushed pineapple (drained well)
  • 1 cup sour cream or Greek yogurt (for tanginess)
½ cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional, for crunch)

(Pro Tip: For a lighter version, use sugar-free Jell-O & fat-free whipped topping!)

Instructions

Step 1: Prep the Strawberries

  • Wash, hull, and dice strawberries into small pieces.

  • Pat them dry to prevent excess moisture in the salad.

Step 2: Mix Dry Ingredients

  • In a large bowl, combine strawberry Jell-O powder and drained crushed pineapple.

  • Stir well and let sit for 5 minutes to thicken slightly.

Step 3: Fold in Creamy Ingredients

  • Add sour cream (or yogurt) and whipped topping.

  • Gently fold until smooth and fluffy.

Step 4: Add Marshmallows & Strawberries

  • Fold in mini marshmallows and diced strawberries.

  • If using nuts, add them now for extra crunch.

Step 5: Chill & Serve

  • Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours (or overnight).

  • Stir gently before serving for the perfect creamy texture.
