Ingredients
-
1/2 cup mayonnaise
-
2 tablespoons white vinegar
-
1 tablespoon corn syrup (or honey as a substitute)
-
1 teaspoon balsamic vinegar
-
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
-
1 teaspoon onion powder
-
1 teaspoon garlic powder
-
1 teaspoon sugar
-
1/4 teaspoon paprika
-
1/4 teaspoon salt
-
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
-
2 tablespoons finely minced onion (or grated onion for smoother texture)
-
1 tablespoon water (optional, for thinning the sauce)
Instructions
In a mixing bowl, combine the mayonnaise, white vinegar, and balsamic vinegar. Whisk until smooth.
Add the corn syrup (or honey), Dijon mustard, sugar, onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to ensure all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
Fold in the finely minced or grated onion. If you prefer a smoother sauce, blend the mixture using a blender or immersion blender.
If the sauce is too thick, add a tablespoon of water and whisk until you achieve your desired consistency.
Transfer the sauce to an airtight container and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow the flavors to meld. Serve chilled.
