  • 1 (25 oz) package frozen or fresh cheese ravioli
  • 1 lb ground beef (or Italian sausage for extra flavor)
  • 1 (24 oz) jar marinara sauce
  • 1 (15 oz) jar Alfredo sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt & black pepper to taste

Optional Add-Ins:

  • 1 cup ricotta cheese (for extra creaminess)
  • 1/2 cup chopped spinach (for a veggie boost)
  • Crushed red pepper flakes (for heat)

Instructions

Step 1: Preheat & Prep

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

Step 2: Cook the Ravioli

  1. Boil ravioli according to package instructions (al dente). Drain and set aside.

Step 3: Brown the Meat

  1. In a skillet, cook ground beef (or sausage) until browned. Drain excess fat.
  2. Stir in marinara sauce, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5 mins.

Step 4: Layer the Casserole

  1. First Layer: Spread 1/2 cup Alfredo sauce on the baking dish.
  2. Second Layer: Add half the cooked ravioli.
  3. Third Layer: Spread meat sauce mixture.

Fourth Layer: Dollop ricotta (if using) and sprinkle 1 cup mozzarella.

  1. Repeat layers, ending with remaining Alfredo sauce & cheeses.

Step 5: Bake to Perfection

  1. Cover with foil and bake for 20 mins.
  2. Remove foil, bake 10 more mins until bubbly and golden.
  3. Let rest 5 mins before serving.
