- 1 (25 oz) package frozen or fresh cheese ravioli
- 1 lb ground beef (or Italian sausage for extra flavor)
- 1 (24 oz) jar marinara sauce
- 1 (15 oz) jar Alfredo sauce
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt & black pepper to taste
Optional Add-Ins:
- 1 cup ricotta cheese (for extra creaminess)
- 1/2 cup chopped spinach (for a veggie boost)
- Crushed red pepper flakes (for heat)
Instructions
Step 1: Preheat & Prep
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
Step 2: Cook the Ravioli
- Boil ravioli according to package instructions (al dente). Drain and set aside.
Step 3: Brown the Meat
- In a skillet, cook ground beef (or sausage) until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Stir in marinara sauce, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5 mins.
Step 4: Layer the Casserole
- First Layer: Spread 1/2 cup Alfredo sauce on the baking dish.
- Second Layer: Add half the cooked ravioli.
- Third Layer: Spread meat sauce mixture.
Fourth Layer: Dollop ricotta (if using) and sprinkle 1 cup mozzarella.
- Repeat layers, ending with remaining Alfredo sauce & cheeses.
Step 5: Bake to Perfection
- Cover with foil and bake for 20 mins.
- Remove foil, bake 10 more mins until bubbly and golden.
- Let rest 5 mins before serving.
