  • Author: Jasmine
  • Total Time: 2 hours 15 mins

Ingredients

(Makes 24 truffles)

Ingredients:

  • 1 ½ cups white chocolate chips (or chopped bar)

  • ½ cup heavy cream (or full-fat coconut cream for dairy-free)

  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter (softened)

  • 1 ½ tsp orange zest (freshly grated)

  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract

  • ¼ tsp orange extract (optional, for extra flavor)

  • Pinch of salt

For Coating:

  • 1 cup white or orange candy melts

  • Extra orange zest (for garnish)

Instructions

Step 1: Heat the Cream

Warm the heavy cream in a saucepan over low heat until steaming (do not boil).

Step 2: Melt White Chocolate

Pour hot cream over white chocolate chips in a bowl. Let sit 2 minutes, then stir until smooth.

Step 3: Add Flavorings

Mix in butter, orange zest, vanilla, orange extract, and salt until fully combined.

Step 4: Chill the Mixture

Refrigerate for 2 hours (or freeze 30 mins) until firm enough to scoop.

Step 5: Roll into Balls

Use a small cookie scoop to portion mixture, then roll into 1-inch balls. Place on a parchment-lined tray.

Step 6: Coat in Chocolate

Melt candy melts, dip each truffle, and place back on the tray. Sprinkle with orange zest before the coating sets.

Step 7: Set & Serve

Chill 15 minutes until firm. Enjoy cold or at room temp!
