  • 23 tablespoons milk (adjust for consistency)


Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Dough

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, sugar, yeast, and salt.

  2. In a separate bowl, combine warm milk, melted butter, egg, vanilla extract, and red food coloring.

  3. Gradually mix the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients, stirring until a dough forms.

  4. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic. Alternatively, use a stand mixer with a dough hook.

  5. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with plastic wrap, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1-2 hours, or until doubled in size.

Step 2: Make the Cinnamon Filling

  1. In a small bowl, mix softened butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, and cocoa powder.

Step 3: Roll Out and Fill the Dough
